Aalborg Industries is the world’s leading supplier of marine boilers, inert gas solutions, WHR generators, scrubber systems an ballast water treatment systems. In addition, Aalborg Industries holds leading positions within industrial process steam boilers in selected geographical areas.

Altor acquired Aalborg Industries from a consortium of Danish financial investors led by Axcel in September 2005. The Danish Employees' Capital Pension Fund "LD" has remained a minority shareholder.

Headquartered in Denmark, Aalborg Industries is an international company with subsidiaries in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Holland, Dubai, Singapore, Japan, China, Korea, Brazil, Vietnam and the USA. The sales activities are supported by a well-established agent network. Sales outside Denmark represent more than 90%. Production is taking place in own factories in Denmark, the Netherlands, China, Brazil and Vietnam and at external sub-suppliers.
